About Timeless Health & Beauty Services
My name is Lisa and I am the owner of Timeless Health and Beauty Services. I was born and raised here, in DFW. I grew up in Oak Cliff. I am happily married to a great man for 26 years and we have have four grown children. I have been a registered nurse for 30 years. I absolutely love being a nurse, I consider it one of my passions in life. I have been doing aesthetic nursing for the past five and a half years.
Timeless Health and Beauty Services started as a side business for me to make a little extra money doing cosmetic injectables. Little did I know that this one decision would take me on a wellness journey of my own. I am blessed with pretty good genes and never really paid too much attention to skin care, make up, hair and clothing. I was somewhat of a tomboy growing up. Most of my adult life you could find me in a loose fitting pair of jeans and comfy t-shirt, hair pulled back in a ponytail, and very little make up. When I got into this business, I thought I probably should at least try Botox because after all I was going to be selling the value of it to others and I wanted to make sure it worked like it claimed to work. This was the beginning of a transformation in mindset of what beauty and wellness was in my own life. I don’t know if it was me feeling like I needed to represent the product or if I truly felt better about the way I looked when I started using Botox. (By the way there is research on how improving your wrinkles with Botox can help with depression). Either way, I started changing my hairstyle, no more ponytails, and I took better care of my skin, and dressed better. Yes, this is all focused on the outside beauty, but I gradually started looking at how I felt inside which triggered a need for change in my life. My sugar addiction, lack of exercise, fatigue, stress, poor diet, weight gain and lack of sleep had to go. I decided that my lifestyle had to change. I was fearful of what my later years would look like if these changes didn’t occur. All this started with a little Botox! So, I dramatically changed my diet which was hard. This lead to more energy, I started exercising slowly, which caused a ripple effect in my entire well-being and attitude. I can tell you from first-hand knowledge, genetics will only get you so far and then you have to make some positive lifestyle changes. This can be done but it isn’t easy. So, now my cosmetic business has transformed into a health and beauty business. I am now a certified health coach and offer my clients a way to be their most beautiful self both, “Inside and Out”.
